The Bereshit (Genesis) Board #1

Handmade from Curly Maple with contrasting Figured Bubinga bread board ends.

Made from multiple strips of curly maple this board truly is a sight to behold. The wood naturally has a 3 dimensional rippling effect. it is as if the board is alive.

The face of the middle board features burned grain lines. With in those lines I then burn in a line from Bereshit (Genesis) 1:29  in Hebrew translated: "And God said, 'See, I give you every seed-bearing plant that is upon all the earth, and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit; they shall be yours for food.'"

The feet are cut and set at to pleasing angle at the bottom of the board
Dimensions are approximately 20 inches by 11 inches, standing 1 1/2 inches tall. 

A translucent acrylic top are included as well to protect the board from knife marks.
All challah boards are finished with a food safe hard wax and oil blend and buffed to a beautiful luster.
